Long Description: Excursions include a one day winery tour, a multi-activity family adventure, a leisurely ride with seaside dining, a full day mountain bike experience or a three day all-inclusive cycling tour of Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

MALAHAT ADVENTURE: DOWNHILL ALMOST ALL THE WAY
A Family Oriented Adventure - This one day guided, circle tour explores the best Vancouver Island has to offer. Departing from downtown Victoria in our air-conditioned courtesy van, cyclists ascend The Malahat. The spectacular summit viewpoint offers a panoramic vista and an opportunity to see what lies ahead for our adventurers. After a brief safety orientation, the exhilarating downhill run to Shawnigan Lake Village and beyond begins. A snack stop is combined with a tour and tasting at the apple orchards of an active cider works, Merridale Estate Cidery. Further downhill cruising brings cyclists to the beach at Mill Bay, from here a small ferry motors across the water to Brentwood Bay. Following an excellent lunch at a favorite, waterside eating establishment, adventurers enjoy kayaking in the protected waters of Saanich Inlet. After just the right amount of paddling, the courtesy van carries adventurers and their bicycles up to the ¿Centre-of-the-Universe.¿ This interactive display at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory is fun for everyone. The optional guided cycle back to the city spirals down from the observatory along country roads, the Lochside and the Galloping Goose Trails. Adventurers arrive back at Selkirk Station in time for dinner. This tour provides the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, view West Coast scenery, to take advantage of numerous photo opportunities and adventures, to get plenty of exercise and all the clean, fresh air you deserve.

GALLOPING GOOSE CRUISE
This leisurely, self-guided ride on the famous Galloping Goose Trail, a "Rails-to-Trails" conversion, takes you to a selected dinner location. After an easy two or three hour cycle with stops along the way to enjoy the sun, bird-watching, ice cream and scenery, cyclists arrive at a favorite wharf-side, pub-style eatery. Following the hearty meal, there is an opportunity to walk around and enjoy the neighborhood before our courtesy van returns cyclists to their Victoria accommodation.

MOUNTAIN BIKE VICTORIA
A challenging full-day mountain bike adventure takes cyclists to the training areas used by the Canadian Mountain Bike Team. Plenty of single and double track riding suitable for all levels including beginners but lots of double and triple black diamond trails for experienced riders. Excursions are lead by NCCP Mountain Bike, Can Bike II certified guides, many of who are members of racing teams (1 guide per 4 riders).

ISLAND EXPLORER
This 3 day-2 night excursion gives you the opportunity to enjoy scenic Cobble Hill, Cowichan Valley, Saltspring Island and Saanich Peninsula. Departing from a convenient downtown Victoria location, cyclists enjoy the thrill of tracks, trestles and tunnels travelling by train to a rustic country whistle stop in Shawnigan Lake. A day of pleasant cycling on country back roads with a gourmet lunch and wine tasting then a stop at a spectacular riverside First Nations Heritage Centre before stopping for the evening at our B & B accommodation.
